COVID-19 and the Annual Meeting

The Covid-19 pandemic is currently the first thing on everyone’s mind. While progress is being made, and we expect many if not most attendees will be fully vaccinated before our meeting convenes, on June 24 we are continuing to carefully monitor the situation and will take action as necessary to ensure the safest environment for all participants.

Our location is connected directly to the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport via a sky bridge and in fact there is a TSA Checkpoint available to Intercontinental Guests into the airport seven days a week beginning at 4:45 am to 6 pm daily, on the third floor. Carry-on luggage only, guests with checked bags may utilize the free airport shuttle and main terminal TSA checkpoints.

Guests will be able to arrive & depart without even stepping outside if they choose! For those attendees with checked-bags there is a free airport shuttle to transport you to the hotel’s front doors.

We are working closely with the hotel to plan for socially distanced room set-ups, to prepare menus and food offerings that limit guest interaction with common implements and consulting with a certified Pandemic Compliance Advisor to ensure that we are doing everything we can to present an environment that is as safe a meeting space as we can make it for all involved.
